There's so much more to this past summer.  I got a letter from one of my campers this last week saying she had the best time ever at camp this year and wants me and LP to be her counselors every summer!  Oh how I miss it.  But Winona life is good.  Friends here are amazing.  God is good.

The perfect summer is over.  If it could be perfect, it wasn't but that's why I loved it so.  Being a second year camp counselor was amazing.  I didn't think it could be any better than last summer, but yet it was. 

Good times of this summer....

~all-night campfires, pirates and ninjas skits, "Taylor what are you doing?", 3 outposts, "stringing the boys", getting thrown in the pool too many times, ultimate dance party, dressing as pirates to play softball, riding in golfie, swimming every day, DAREBASE, drive-in movies on hot nights, tye dye, staff worship, Twins game, Tay's concerts, "Let's burn the white couch!", inservice, DD week, air conditioning in the RC, dressing up as pirates to go see pirates, Danny visiting, Fatty being the nurse, making outpost food, building campfires, food olympics, FOB, Friends camp, pranks, adding verses to Hiya, Hiya..and singing all of them, campfire on the beach, apple smear, canoe swamping, tubing, "Camp Omega does not need to know about this!", visiting Andrea, late night swims....

So let's recap the last two weeks of my life:

RICHFIELD DAY CAMP~ best day camp ever.  I worked with Meg, Tay and Laura-- they are all so fun and crazy.  We lived 5 minutes from the Mall of America and we took advantage of it.  We got lots of nights out so it was pretty sweet.

12-14 YEAR OLDS~ I got to work with some more amazing people like Jordan, Tay and LP (2 weeks in a row...yessss)  Our campers were fantabulous.  Stringing the boys was the best part.  We wrote them a love poem which we read at supper, which I will post for you now:

 Oh Zeta boys your sight makes me quiver.  I know it's true love cuz I can feel it in my liver.

Your my favorite kind of peach, your the apple of my eye and when you leave we will surely cry.

We did everything together- so we'll love you forever.

Although these times are full of pain, we know we all had something to gain.

We left you presents of string and song and then you came out to get your man tan on.

We thought the bracelets were all you had but after the pool our luck turned bad.

The white wonderland you left in our room, made us feel as if we were doomed.

We took it down and now we are friends, we wish this week would never end.  Now in closing we leave you this thought, we hope that you enjoyed this time alot.

Yes, yes camp is simply amazing, again.  I work til Wednesday this week and then I'm heading to Win-town to get a new comp and hang out with friends.  I'm pretty much way excited.  If your gonna be in Winona on Wednesday or Thursday we should def chill.
